Summary

Grandma Tusk wanted runners to steal some overpriced toys from a warehouse, runners were happy to oblige and knocked out some wageslave guards in the process.

Background

Granny Tusk's grandchildren had told her oh so many times about these board games they seemed to love so much, and considering it was about gift-giving time for them she was in the market for some of the miniatures they kept pestering her about. Though, when looking at some of the ridiculous prices for them, she realized that it would be far more cost-effective to just hire some lovely shadowrunners to 'procure' them for her, while giving the hard-working dears some light work.

The Meet

The group was rather surprised to find the location of their meet to be the exact opposite of the usual seedy bar, unknown warehouse, or low-down restaurant, in fact, it was a rather lively, inviting little home filled with trolls in rather large knit sweaters. Meeting Mrs. Johnson, she rather quickly dropped the formalities of a meet by introducing herself as Granny Tusk, and began to explain her woes to the group over a lovely plate of tea and cookies.
Being a loving grandmother, she wanted to get all of her grandchildren toys for a nearing holiday, of course, they happened to be interested in just the sorts of toys that were designed to drain the wallets of parents and loving grandparents alike, so, after crunching some numbers, she figured she'd be able to get them for even less by hiring a strapping group of shadowrunners to do so instead, thanks to her connections as a fixer, pricing would be the last of her worries in this regard. With a few token questions and a request for seconds on those cookies, the runners were pleased to know the run would be simple as can be, just run on into the warehouse, grab the toys after dealing with the guards, and get out, plain and simple. With their missions assigned and a light snack, they hopped into their vehicles and got on their way to the job.

The Plan

8133D3R insisted on running the matrix search for the facility on the way, with some intense preparation, and some assistance from M3chan1c and Heracles, the dwarf dove headfirst into the matrix, utterly tearing through mountains and mountains of data as the other runners debated such an invasive search for just some small-time toy warehouse, though, his efforts were rewarded with a manifest, a list of employees on guard, and a proper location. After a few hours of searching, the party arrived at the location, it had already been decided that this would be a simple, loud smash-and-grab job, so the moment they parked, the group gathered up at the doors as M3chan1c dove into the matrix and shut down the cameras.

Aftermath

The party milled about while they rummaged through the facility, making a few French-themed jokes at the surrendering guard's expense until they managed to come out with the needed goods, after a simple drive back to Grandma's place (and a stop for burgers along the way) the party was able to make the delivery, just in time to be invited to dinner by the friendly Troll. Not being ones to refuse a meal, and one member being an exceedingly hungry snake, they gladly sat down and joined Grams for dinner before being sent on their way with their reward.
