Summary
Background
Shadowhaven BBS Post:
"Looking for a team for a run out in deep waters. Expect reasonable matrix security, but not a lot of magic. Black site underwater. Need some equipment and some files from a location no one will admit to owning. On one hand, situation can get a little loud - who's gonna hear it underwater? On the other hand, if you drown I don't get my shit. Idiots need not apply.
Mr. E"
The Meet
The team meets in a yerzed out Roadmaster, the Johnson going by "Mr. E." He explains that he wants to have the team run against a MCT blacksite that is on the bottom of the ocean in order to acquire some cyborg research parts and data. The characters need to manage transport to the site, get in, get the parts and data, and get back out.
The Plan
The Team makes a point of getting underwater gear, Find a submersible, Get in, sabotage the site, find the gear, get out.
Just kidding:
Nab Jason Thorpe, steal his keycard. Use the underwater rail to the site and masquerade as Thorpe himself.
The Run
Day 1:
Pacho does some research and realizes this location is about 500m down and would require pressure system airlock.
Calypso searches along the matrix and gets the layout of the four layers of the place. She also discovers the name Jason Thorpe in connection with the location and, frankly, most of his personal data. She also contacts Lord_Logie to get some information, finding that Thorpe goes back and forth from a warehouse on the Tacoma Docks and that there is some kind of local HTR team on the site.
Signifer spends the day at the docks and is able to confirm that there are no strange ships going out to the middle of nowhere. Sig scouts the premises of the warehouse, finding the cameras for the warehouse. Calypso is able to bypass the cameras for Sig to be able to climb along the wall with the gecko grips. She sneaks in finding what appears to be the top of a elevator assembly in the warehouse.
Pacho arranges with Diego_Carrillo to have some goods with guns for the warehouse run, agreeing to owe him a chip.
Day 2:
Pacho makes a simple charge but decides to not use it at the Tacoma Docks. He arranges the gangers to be nearby and generally act like assholes. Two guards get distracted, and Sig is able to slip in and plant a data tap on the elevator. Calypso hacks into the elevator and discovers that it leads down to an underground tram that runs from the docks to the site.
Sig makes a call to Hector_Wells and arranges a place to hold Jason Thorpe while they're doing the run, paying Wells 1,000.
Calypso hops over to the MCT grid to hack the computer in Thorpe's car. She directs it into northeast Tacoma, and arranges for Pacho to slip into the car. The car arrives at the place Wells arranged, and they search Thorpe, finding his keycard and commlink.
Calypso sets up with the boat, Sig steals Thorpe's clothes, commlink, etc. One R6 Mask and disguise sorted, "Thorpe" heads to work.
Time to Go to Work
Sig makes it down into the underwater site and alllmost makes it out without incident, however Sig's social rolls eventually fail. She is able to get the data and the parts, as well as some personal data about how a Shadowrunner group named the NightEyes was responsible for the run which brought about Sig's "death" and transition to cyborg life.
One explosive decompression later, an escape is made!
Aftermath
Thorpe doesn't remember who kidnapped him due to the Laes. Run successful!
