Overview

Presumably the escaped spawn of some collapsed weapon development project, High Calibre is an AI who can tell you about guns, how/why/when they work, and how to use them more effectively. They sporadically sell their services on the the Matrix, probably to fund some gun-related activity. When contacted about that one form of weapon they've based their whole existence around, they are somewhat overbearing and talkative. Has strong, conflicted opinions on KRIME, probably best not to bring up that particular manufacuter.

Aspects Description

Aspect Description
Guns Guns Guns If there is something that can be known about a model of firearm or bullet, HC probably has it on file. Sales rates, standard trigger weights, illegal distribution pipelines, trivia about the designers personal life, etc. They can even dig up information on firearm-adjacent weaponry, though this may be done begrudgingly.
Gun-Seeing Eye H. Cal is always interested in the next gen of weapons tech, and they can do a little digging on their own. However, they generally avoid attention and prefer more passive methods of keeping up with the state of the game.
Hollistic Ballistics H.C.'s pride and joy is a series of sophisticated combat simulation models, and they spend most of their time tinkering away on them. They can be convinced to share these models and provide instruction/advice, typically in exchange for access to rarer guns and ballistic/combat data. Notably, this has led to a small cohort of "students" forming.
Forensic Side Gig Out of financial neccesity, High Calibre has adapted their simulations to be able to analyse boring crime scene stuff. Even ones that didn't involve guns (with significantly less enthusiasm!).
Anthrodrone Operator Calibre possesses some number of anthrodones, kitted out to varying degrees of tacticality. Their physical operations are centered around Seattle, and presumably function to collect rare firearms and do minor field testing.

Thoughts on Firearms

  • ARES ALPHA - A solid pick, but perhaps too ubiquitous amongst profesionals. Where's the variety?
  • ONOTARI ARMS EQUALIZER - What a joke hahaha
  • RANGER ARMS SM–5 - Beautiful, a pleasure to shoot
  • AA16 - Yes yes yes
  • INGRAM VALIANT - Overrated
  • STEYR TMP - Steyr needs to make more guns
  • FN HAR - FN really cheaped out on those vents
  • HK URBAN COMBAT - Quality for a price
  • The various forms of BARRENS SPECIALS - oh these are fun, can't recommend them though
