Summary
Runners are tasked to steal some materials from a small factory in Pinehurst, through much investigation they succeed brilliantly.
Background
A boeing project manager noticed another department flagging and hired runners to go steal a shipment, making plenty of profit in the process.
The Meet
The runners meet in an R1 host shaped to look like a dark room with betting table in the middle. They agree to a job for 20k nuyen a head. After agreeing the runners get some basic data on the when and where.
The Plan
The runners do some basic scouting and go through multiple plans, eventually deciding to hijack the truck.
The Run
After the decker doing some heavy legwork, the mage decides to get some backup by making a wild pact with a free spirit of water. Accepting the job to cleanse a river in an industrial district, the mage gets the services for a force 8 water spirit to help in astral combat.
Ducky and the decker who is stuck in a bag sneak onto the bottom of the truck, riding to loading dock. Waiting for the rigger to get out, they sneak into the cabin and then squelch the rigger before hijacking the truck under security's noses. The fire spirit defending him in the astral attempts to stop this, but is intercepted and disrupted. After that the runners successfully abscond with the goods and drive off. They contact someone from S3I to fence the goods and disappear into the night.
Aftermath
The runners are much more well off, a project manager has more money in his pocket.
