Summary

The runners get hired by Cutters to get the Speed Demons out of their turf - any means necessary - and they end up dragging the gang out to a go-gang fighting area, where they ambush and get them sent all the way to Tacoma, with only one dying. Spellfreak now leads the Wheel Devils, which is now beginning to become a wizgang.

Background

A unit in the army ended up kicked out on dishonourable discharged - all of them rogues and scoundrels who got kicked out for being cowards and bastards, aside from Spellfreak who was merely traumatised - ended up forming into a go-gang: the Wheel Devils. Lead by Johno, they set up on Auburn, within Cutters turf, the front of a military surplus store being their little trick. They stayed out there for some time, but eventually got caught by Cutters, but with Ancients aggression ex-mils were no go: they had to get runners.

The Meet

The grey haired dwarf enforcer was quick to business - the gang's at the location, and we need them gone. When talked up by Akuma, especially when Trauma brought her request about a Pain Editor to bare, he was tentative about giving away such hot tech and more cash to the runners, but she was able to mosey her way into it - while the runners loved this, this would turn out to be a terrible decision for this enforcer.

The Plan

After scouting the location via Opti-X, and hacking comms to check messages, alongside some other devices, String King was able to force them into an offline meeting - but two had to blow that via keeping their commlinks on. He hacked into one, turning it into a bug, as they found out the gang was preparing to scout the area. After they scouted, they decided to use the tension to try and insult them online - to force them into a showdown at a nearby Go-Gang fighting area - which was surprisingly easy, and in 30 minutes, they were there.

The Run

The meat of the run was quick and fast, as it mostly came down to the legwork. When the gang got out there, they revved up and got ready to drive, alongside Shogoki in car, as all hell broke loose - the mage Spellfreak tried to make a ramp, which was quickly smashed by Shogoki in a great display of driving as Trauma unloaded a minigun into everyone but Dataspike Joe. One died, and a lot of bikes were smashed, and with Akuma's words they were ready to run - and not to Bellevue, as she made sure, recoursing them to Tacoma - but Johno's Cyberpsychosis which he had contained so long fully came out as he shrieked for a duel. He got that wish, as Akuma came out, and seconds were called - Trauma and the terrified decker Dataspike Joe.

However, Johno was heavily injured from the gunfire, and one stun baton hit knocked him out clean. The decker fled, because Dataspike Joe is a rich coward, and couldn't even do anything to the online gun due to String King's prowess. The plan worked like a charm, and it was a simple task to go back to the J.

Aftermath

They got their cash and went their separate ways after setting up Johno's unconscious body at a bus stop. The gang is now in Tacoma: Johno was taken by organleggers and his ware sold to chopshops, Spellfreak leads the new Tacoma Wheel Devils with the rest of the mooks, and Dataspike Joe was murdered after Spellfreak found a new, much smarter and awakened, decker to replace him, giving that new decker all of Joe's expensive gear - gear that he bought and wasted the fucking Host budget on a Destiny Blade. It was due to his ignorance that the technomancer had such free reign over them and their expansion plans, but now, it would be different, he hoped.
