Background
Satō Meiji–Ginevra Satō–already an almost unheard-of, exotically out-of-place misfit; an Oni outside the physical and, more importantly, cultural boundary of her native Japan?
The senior Mitsuhama executive transferred to Seattle’s bookishly shy, now-estranged daughter having been much too young to fend for herself in any event, never mind whilst in the midst of an unnerving, unexpectedly life-alteringly adolescence had retreated into pouring over the mythology surrounding what she’d become.
Encouraging her already considerable curiosity concerning the matrix’s sensory experiences in the process, to the point that, by her fourteenth birthday, Ginevra’d already begun establishing her promise as an up-and-coming young decker.
Which took an even more surreal twist when her mystical potential manifested. Especially her talent at body-sculpting. Bringing her vividly exotic imagination to life, coupled by an uncertain, ever-evolving self-image.
Perhaps inevitably, all of these confusingly intermingled new aspects of the curiously sensual young woman’s personality and potential led her astray, in the form of an enticingly smooth, vice-enabling hot-sim studio producer who, after plying her with drug-enhanced pleasure arranged for her genetic and cybernetic augmentation before her narco-enhanced, sim-rigged debut.
