Character Information

Summary

Hammer Head, also known by his birth name Clay Jagoda Jennison, is a mechanic turned shadowrunner. His father's mechanic shop, Jennison Auto Repair, barely lets them get by after the disappearance of their true breadwinning brother simply called JJ. After being inspired to run by the charitable efforts of Seattle Software and Special Investigations, he utilized the connections his ghoul brother made to take the helm of crime in the shadowhaven world. His time spent in amateur fighting rings allows him to specialize in close combat, while his background helping his pa in the mechanic's shop lets him aid his members as a wheelman.

Goals

His primary goal is to help himself and his father be able to sustain a living without the need for welfare.

Background

The Jennison family originally consisted of Clay's father, Greyson Jennison, and his older brother, Jay Jennison. Greyson had to raise Jay and Clay as a single father after a nasty "divorce" (they weren't legally married due to being SINless) between him and his previous wife, Patsy "Jennison". This was caused by the wife's infidelity and physical abuse towards Greyson and Clay. Greyson got by through his mechanic's shop until he started facing arthritis, in which Jay took up ganging and Clay helped him in the shop. At this time, Jay became a Ghoul forcibly by a member of the Chulos gang so he could be physically apt for muscle work; this caused him to frequent Farraday's Clinic and accept other charitable efforts of S3I by association.

Clay and Greyson both got SINs thanks to S3I, and once Jay went missing (and presumed dead) after being stalked by Infected hunters, had to be sustained through the welfare of the company. This made Clay feel particularly guilty, especially when his father is pushing past retirement age to sustain an income.
