Overview
Sara Turi is head of the Sámi tribal council on Magerøya and a Reindeer shaman. She is a politician. The Mountain Sámi are much more involved with tribal affairs than the Sea Sámi so Sara favors her political base the Mountain Sámi. She is well connected politically although the Finnmark more than Norway as a whole.
