Summary
Background
The Meet
We start at 10PM on a Tuesday night in Seattle where Fading of the Dawn receives a call from their fixer who tells Fading that they have a quest for her. A search for a missing person and the coordinates for the meeting place, a bar called "The Devil's Kiss." She calls John Baptise for a ride. Wildflower receives a call from Fiendest telling them that they need to head over to the Devil's Kiss in 2 hour. She calls for a ride from Adam Quel. Warboss calls Dreadnought and says that there's a woman who is hiring them for a missing persons search.
Fading and Wildflower arrive at the bar and are sent back to take some drinks while the team waits. Dreadnought arrives afterwards and follows the person to the back where they pull a lever and lead the team into another area. They discuss that the team will be paid 8k nuyen for information leading to the recovery of the corpse as well as an additional 2k nuyen for the recovery of their daughter. Dreadnought notices some details in the photo and relays that to the team, which Fading recognizes as a sign of infection. When Dreadnought brings up the recovery of the daughter in exchange for the gear reward, the J and Fading bring up that she may not be recovered in an non-infected state since her kidnapper was infected. There's an undercurrent of unease from the fixer, which might be implying that they have cross-purposes with the client.
