Summary
The team is tasked with returning a book that has a 500 Nuyen bounty on it. The person who took it out has been unresponsive to returning it, and the runners are asked to return it without hurting the person in question. The duo do exactly as they're told, without asking many questions. Yet, what happens to the questions unanswered...?
Background
Jessica Abraham, a mage living in Seattle, had rented a book from the Pinehurst Memorial Library, but when the book is unreturned, spirits and employees go looking for it. Though, when the spirits don't come back, the PHML team suspects danger. They have a non aggression pact in place and choose not for violence, so they hire runners to be the violence they need.
The Meet
The team meets with Monica at the Library, both Poe and Wylde meet up and say hello, with Wylde being a bit misty eyed over the mage Poe being so skilled and dual nature. Talking with Monica, the duo realize she is a technomancer, but pay attention otherwise to her request. Professional!
The request is simple; 6000 nuyen to find a book worth 30K that had gone missing after a magician rented it. They recuperated some of the cash from the up-front deposit for the book, but when it never came back they realized just how much they wanted the book returned. With the info on the renter revealed, the team go to get the book.
The Run
The team figured, a short search for the places Jessica was known to visit would be good, and searching for awakened hangouts had the team interested. Given one was close enough to her house, they though "why not!" it might be a good place to start. Inside they met a sorely mage with a bad attitude that just wanted a job where she could slack; and slacking she did when it came to giving out private information. Which is to say, she was tight lipped and wouldn't open up. But, finding the services at the "sublime Stay Hotel, where we hope your stay is sublime and not hel, as we're here to serve!".
Renting a room, the duo get inside and start casting magics to look for things; A Catalogue spell reveals books within roughly 1KM range, and a search spell reveals the spell to be within the building. Clairvoyance shows a vision into the mana barriered room, and inside? A sleeping Jessica Abraham - the culprit at large. But, the duo realize that Jessica is astrally projecting.
Without asking many questions, the team sneaks a possession spirit into the empty body, unlocks the door and hands over the book. Wylde, nabbing the book, leaves Poe to put the body back where they found it, and the duo leaves.
Aftermath
The duo return to Monica Faulkner to get paid. They don't ask questions about why Jessica was there, they just do what they were asked and then leave.

Game Quotes
Player After Action Reports (AARs)
Wylde: "Man, watchin' Poe at work was a damn spectacle. He knows his drek, that's for sure. We got the gig from some technowizard librarian named Monica who wanted a pretty pricey book back in their fold. Wasn't hard comin' up with a few places this 'Jessica Abraham' could've stashed it. We actually found the place first try, thanks to m'wah. Poe got us a room and determined that the book was on location through his magic. Damn Mystic Adepts for being badass kung fu wizards... Anyways, I summoned a really chill Air spirit (no pun intended) and they found where it was. Poe got one of his buddies to posses the body of Jessica and wham bam, thank you ma'am, the book was ours. Easiest six thou I've made. Makes me wonder if we dodged somethin' huge back there. Either way, lunch was on me!"
Poe "Always a treat when the supernatural detection skills pay off directly. Wylde is very intuitive, I would never have considered the hotel as the first stop and sure enough, on a hunch that ended up being the spot. Lucky day, and an easy payout, all things considered."
