Character Information

Summary

A complicated young man with a mildly disturbing history, who has arrived to Seattle and carved out a practical life for himself in the Shadows and the Barrens. Poe (formerly Psyche) has confronted with some serious doubts about the Psionic tradition and found a new and better way forward with his astral work through a bastardized Santaria variant.

• Expand his repertoire and knowledge base
• Learn more about the Awakened community and magical theory and expanding his horizons past his former cult.
• Survive and build a life in and out of the shadows
• Earn the Respect of the David Smugglers and work his way up to a supply line.

Background

Eldin Masters was designed to be "Perfect" in a basement lab in Southern California by his overly rich and powerful Horizon exec Mother and extracted former Aztechnology father.. One of who knows how many genetically modified babies in the first generation of Biochildren.The first ten years of his life were practically idyllic, growing up "In" the Fun Town amusement park in Los Angeles. Eldin's parents were always casual dilletantes about the area including the local popularization of cults in the wake of the Universal Brotherhood scandal. When the great quake of 69' hit Los Angeles, they took the cult quite a bit more seriously. Even moreso when Eldin awakened shortly after the quake. Eldin moved with his folks into a section of Angeles National Forest long held as private property by the obscenely rich or incredibly old California families in a bid to escape the corps altogether and live a more practical life.

As the years past the members of the cult dwindled, and Eldin did his best to simply remain on the outskirts, encouraged by his parents to use his abilities to join and eventually *be* the security team that patrolled the borders of the Cult's compound. He learned the majority of his magical practice from a Spirit posing as another adept of a similar mindset out on the boundary to wilderness. This approach worked better than any of the cult's training had managed to stick. Ultimately this would put Eldin on the bordergrounds of the cult compound when the PCC government raided it after ignoring it for years, on suspicion of Blood Magic infiltrators joining it. In the surrounding chaos Eldin did find himself beset by a few blood spirits and assisting the PCC who informed him 'after the fact he was in fact, a citizen, in the Annexation of Los Angeles, and allowed him to start a new life for himself.

Sticks When Poe first moved to Seattle he took a tough run in the CAS involving Sticks family, and in some ways they clashed on almost every level, magically, stylistically, willingness to deviate from the job for personal business, but by the end they brought the team through hell to come and continue to poke into each other's lives and help out from time to time.

Miut Poe met Miut when trying to come clean to the Arcane Eye about Koi and create some kind of resolution there. Little did he expect an incredibly pragmatic whirlwind romance that would slowly alter the course of both of their lives. Officially: "His girlfriend"
