This is Chip Truth for Samurai News at the Fairlight Olympic Hotel, where the weeklong 'Winter in the Emerald City' event is being held. The competition is well under way as dancers have given exquisite performances in both the Ballroom and Vogue categories. As expected, Ms. Tasha Persephone Juarez and her partner JH Silver stole the show on day one. Unfortunately, we were unable to reach Ms. Juarez for an interview. But worry not, dear readers, for you are in luck. We caught up with one of Ms. Juarez's rivals who is hot on her heels in the scoring.

CHIP TRUTH: Would you introduce yourself and your partner, and tell us which dance style you have chosen for the competition?

ANNA TSENG: I'm Anna Tseng, Freelance journalist and model. I've decided to try Classical dance and maybe dip my toes in Vogue. I didn't come with a partner...but hopefully that will change by tonight...Fufu!

TRUTH: How do you feel about the other dancers this year?

TSENG: The crop is great this time of year. Haven't been to this competition yet...seems like quite a tough field!

TRUTH: What will you do with the prize winnings if you and your partner come out on top?

TSENG: Aside from rent? Fufu~, I always donate to a fund to restore Redmond, especially the plastic jungles, given its the Christmas spirit, I could give it an extra bump this time of year.

Well there you have it folks! Talented and generous. Ms. Tseng has certainly made at least one fan this evening. Stay tuned to Samurai News for more interviews with the contestants!"
