Summary
The Crew has to chase an enemy currently fishing for priceless stolen artwork, and steal it from under their noses (and under the sea) The crew uses stealth to approach the vessel and the drop zone with the help of a Great Water Spirit, and plan a simultaneous smash and grab to grab the key and the safe. However, an opfor used his drill that can pierce the heaven and tore apart one of the runners, leaving the victory bittersweet.
Background
In a previous run, a client had another man killed as the final act of a death pact: where the final man standing gets access to a trove of stolen artwork. However, in a funny loophole, the target was resuscitated. This caused a unique opportunity as the death pact still considered him to have died. This target, understandably miffed, hires runners for some skullduggery: Steal the newly unlocked treasure from right under the "winner's" nose
The Meet
The crew meet the client at a Americana restaurant, with the tab already paid for. The client, using his MCT connections, has hired the runners to attack a treasure hunting expedition. The crew is to intercept this crew and take the treasure from them, or before they can obtain the treasure.
The client does not care whether the opfor is killed. The runner crew gathers together to do some legwork.
The Plan
The crew, via some pictures, discover the backstory: Death Pacts, and the loopholes for the death pact. They discover that their client was likely nearly killed so that the seal for the death pact would be undone. The crew also learn the drop point is...somewhere in the bay.
The crew plans to use either magical or technological means. Then use the point and plan a two phase attack: Obsidian, Hawkins, and Geo would steal the key, and Ahriman and Intercession would go underwater and find the safe.
