Summary

Daughter of a dead mob musician, a good Christian girl (ha) runs off to the shadows to figure out how to survive in her new position in the mafia - on the bottom rung, that is.

Goals

• Determine who ordered the killing of her father, Marco Mangione.
• Secure her own place in the family business - both music and mafia.
• Return to concert piano when she has finished.

Background

The daughter of a mobster led a quiet life for many years - growing up in the shadow of the Gianellis, protected by men in suits thrice her size. Suits were a common sight at her childhood piano recitals, luxury cars the typical mode of transportation, a rich life funded entirely on the Family's dime.

Luciana stayed out of it - her father Marco protected her from the life, her mother Maria played dumb. And while she knew that others in her cohort of SINless were less fortunate than she, while she knew in theory the realities of SINless life, they did not affect her. She held a false name, went to school with it, attended concerts, honed her craft, and developed the same supernatural charisma her father had.

A supernatural charisma that, honed through faith, saw her pulling the spirits of Saints into battle. Saw her moving quicker than others could, saw people listen to her words like Gospel.

The same charisma that had led him to musical success, to mafia success, and evidently to draw in such enemies that he was sliced down with monowire and riddled with bullets by a group calling out the name of a musician who'd died a couple years ago.

Life changed overnight. The investigation turned up evidence that burned her fake SIN. Her mother fled to live with family, but with that not an option, Keys has gone to the only family she knows.

The Mob has a lot of uses for someone summoning spirits and sweet-talking suckered, after all.

It's been less than a week. Three jobs, and she's gotten a lead from a Family friend on a way to get some personal cash.

Time to hit the Shadows. Not alone. She has an orphaned attack dog to act as her Vergil, guiding her into Hell.

• Uncomfortable Legacy (Cynic, Made Man) - She's no stranger to a criminal life, and while she was sheltered she's known this was coming for some time.

• Omerta Code (CoH: Omerta) - Keys is in the mafia. That means no talking to cops, no killing cops, and putting the family first. Or else.
• Mafia Princess (Alpha Junkie, Did You Just Call Me Dumb) - Keys is used to getting her way. That may prove troublesome given that her dad isn't protecting her anymore.
• Driven - She will find whoever ordered the hit and...figure out what happens once she does later.
