I am here to have fun.

Characters

[Bleach](https://shreloaded.net/wiki/Bleach) is like Solid Snake in a maid outfit: capable with firearms, grenades, and unarmed combat; specialized in hard infiltration. Main role is infiltrator, off roles are gunadept, punch-er, and off-face. Themes are anger, vengeance, and syndicate life.

[Fennec](https://shreloaded.net/wiki/Fennec) is a curious technomancer and obnoxious weeaboo VTuber with off-skills in Facing. They overperform in short runs and underperform in long ones due to their 8 edge pool. Themes of Curiosity, Seeeking Information, Conspiracy Theories and reporting their version of the facts on stream later!

[Lingchi](https://shreloaded.net/wiki/Lingchi) is a Cosmic full mage, with a chuuni streak a mile wide and a desperate desire to understand the cosmos. She's best at combat spells, illusion spells, and summoning aspects of solar flares to scour her foes - though only so long as she has edge to spend. Themes of redemption, reform, and repair.

[Sojourner](https://shreloaded.net/wiki/Sojourner) is Lingchi's ally spirit, a being rescued from a comet at the end of creation. Her abilities are comparable to a modest mage.

[Gehenna](https://shreloaded.net/wiki/Gehenna) is a calm, understated black mage and off-face with a "small allergy to wood and sunlight" and a great deal of luck. Too selfish to stoop to using spirits, she prefers subtlety - favoring illusions and raw charm over direct combat. That doesn't mean she isn't capable of flinging lightning and comets when it comes down to it, or even breaking the taboo of mind magic. Themes are conspiracy, self-loathing, and learning the business.

[Zan Zan](https://shreloaded.net/wiki/Zan_Zan) is an oni Explorer and a samurai, living with a restrictive code of honor. She'll never leave a teammate or an innocent life behind. Themes are ethical life, doing good, following the code, and growing more powerful.

GM Style

Grounded and black, like my coffee.

This comes off edgier than my style actually is. I like slipping in jokes, I like having a little fun on a meta level. But at the end of the day, I don't want to pull any punches, either.

Declining at Meet

It might be realistic in character, but please do not sign up if you know in advance that your character would leave at the meet. It stops the game before it starts. Exceptions can be made if there's a particularly good reason.

Sabotage a Job

Discuss it beforehand. I'm more okay with something that allows a game to happen, rather than no-selling the game within ten minutes of it starting. That sort of conflict is interesting in a way that showing to a run your character wouldn't join is not.

As an example, going into a run that's explicitly wetwork in prerun materials, then refusing it because it's wetwork is a waste of time. But going into a run to provide security for a target, then find out that you're providing security for someone who will be executed if you finish the job per Johnson's instructions - is a reasonable situation to walk away from a job partway through, or even sabotage it in the event of certain moral codes.

Just talk it over OOC and I'm good with it.

Seriousness Level

Black trenchcoat. My goal as a GM is to keep the world grounded (for a setting with magical pixies). To say a bit more about my tone though, I'm okay with a lighter tone among the players - but the world will react as realistically as I can manage.

Consequences and Failure

Failures happen. Accidents happen. Dealing with these is part of the fun of playing the game. That being said - I'm not out to get anybody, and I don't want 'gotchas' - I will just deliver what I consider reasonable consequences. While that will usually be something players will be able to work through, those consequences can still include death or near-death situations. I will do my best to reflect that risk in the run's rating. Similarly - if you come up with a clever angle that takes the teeth out of my run, I'm just going to reward that. If you outsmart the bad guys, you outsmart the bad guys.

Character Graveyard

Insonia was a decker and off-samurai, able to handle both VR decking in hosts and combat with mooks to a competent degree. Themes were Finding Power and Finding Peace, and what the interaction of those two goals looks like in an out-and-proud Ancients ganger. She never found herself, cut down before her time by Lichtenberg in a scuffle between the Ancients and the Cutters.
