Summary
Flamenca is a retired runner coming back to the shadows to afford a new and expensive hobby.
Goals
- Buy better gear for her new hobby (bird photography).
- Buy a new set of limbs for other kind of jobs.
- Buy a vehicle.
- Be able to afford to retire again.
Background
Cristina started in the shadowrunner business the way most people do: being young, broke, and very convinced it would be temporary. She built up a small reputation as a fast, flashy melee fighter with a bit too much 'ware, and bird-shaped cyberware legs.
Then she got out. Sort of. After earning a decent amount of nuyen, she decided to “find herself,” which mostly meant exploring her love for bird photography. Lenses, camera bodies, travel permits, so on and so forth... It all added up fast, and shockingly, no one pays you to take moody shots of endangered parrots unless you’re already rich.
So... Now she’s back in the game. She tells herself it’s temporary again. Just a few runs to pay for a better camera, maybe some new limbs for more specialized jobs. Deep down however, she knows the truth: no regular job is gonna comfortably pay for a hobby like this.
If nothing else, from a rooftop between jobs, she can sneak away to take some shots.
Narrative Significant Qualities
Positive
Black Market Pipeline (Cyberware): Thanks to her previous experience as a runner, she has a pretty decent contact to get her 'ware.
Biocompatibility (Cyberware), Redliner: Being mostly metal has it's benefits.
Negative
Distinctive Style: Unfortunately having flashy 'ware also comes with the disadvantage of being easily recognised.
No Man Left Behind, Poor Self Control (Sadistic): She's only in it for the nuyen, but she can't help herself and finish the job.
Phobia (Uncommon, Mild | Cats): Maybe she's subconsciously taking the bird theme too seriously or maybe it's just a funny coincidence, but she can't stand cats.

Appearance
Cristina is fairly tall, standing at 6'1. Her hair dark is curled, and reaches beyond her shoulders, and usually ties it back during jobs to avoid it getting in the way- though a few strands usually end up escaping. Her eyes are a lighter shade of brown, and her skin is fair.
Although her torso and most of her 'ware is synthetic, her main modular set of limbs are all Obvious; the legs are digigrade and shaped like a bird's, and her arms have retractable claws that grow out of her regular nails. She plans to buy a second set of limbs, this time synthetic, for more delicate situations that would require her to be more subtle.
Clothing
She doesn't have any specific way of dressing, just kind of throws on whatever she can dig out of her wardrobe; mostly brandless and black clothing, though she doesn't care about what colour, as long as it's not white pants.
Matrix Persona
Resembles real appearance, but with a robotic body, no facial features and a pair of wings on her back resembling a flamingo's.
