Summary
Ty meets Deulara Leorel and OtherCon, and learns that Tanya is missing. On his way to rescue her, he meets Kenneth "Flamesaw" Murphy, and the two manage to rescue her from a nefarious EVO-affiliated mad scientist.
Background
Tanya can't seem to manage to stay not-kidnapped. For like, longer than 2 days. Seriously.
The Meet
Ty goes to Fenris Nacht and meets Deulara Leorel, and the two hang out for the night. She also tells him about OtherCon, and brings him to the meeting they have the next day. While there, they discover that Tanya is missing (again).
The Plan
The OtherCon folk and Ty split up and start searching for Tanya. Ty goes to Tanya's cabin, and finds Kenny and the inside of her cabin an absolute mess. The two decide to go rescue Tanya.
The Run
Kenny brings Ty to Dr. Happy Murder's lab in an abandoned and condemned elementary school in Redmond. Out front, Ty and Kenny and a spirit fight three other spirits, then brave their way through several traps before getting to the basement. Kenny runs in (LEEEEEEEEEROY JENKINS!!!!!) and is immediately lightning bolted. Fortunately for him, Ty is able to kill Dr. Happy Murder, and the two of them bring Tanya back to Kenny's Big Bazoo and back to Snohomish.
Aftermath
Tanya is saved! We'll see how long that lasts.

If Ty has learned one thing since joining Shadowhaven, it's to expect the unexpected. And everything about this was unexpected. What started out as a nice friendly evening ended up turning into a wild ride. Literally, thanks to Kenny. Ty also learned that being bold when you have a bunch of friends around is all well and good, but you should be cautious when you are alone or in a very small group. Ty's big moment of panic game when facing down the evil EVO doctor. He was stronger than he looked. But with the help of a trusty air spirit and a little mundane firepower, he was turned in to swiss cheese. All in all, a good time, but it was wild. Plus Ty made a bunch of new friends like him, so it was a win in his book. Now let's hope Tanya can avoid being kidnapped for a little while.
