A Komon of the Yoshinaga-gumi, who hopes to help expand their influence.

Background

Suzuki was born and raised for a few years in Japan before her family had to move to the UCAS due to issues with the law, her family, even in the new environment, never managed to recover and fell into rampant drug abuse and a life of crime again. Her family was a bunch of con-men, scamming the poor and rich alike with their schemes, Suzuki never cared for this but was unable to escape the influence of her family, as such she developed quite the skill with words, and was used by her family to their own benefit. Once she awakened she found her words held even more weight than before, which was abused even further by her family, and instead of getting out of the toxic world she was stuck in, she instead fell into it even harder. As she came of age she started drinking to cope with the emotional abuse from her family, and became a severe alcoholic.

After she turned 20, she attempted to distance herself from her family, and tried to turn a new leaf, realizing all the drek she had to put up with was not good for her. It was difficult but she managed to do it, she cut all ties with her family and started a new life for herself. She used her powers to try and help people, settling disputes was her primary task, as she was a skilled negotiator thanks to the influence of her family, the only good thing to come from them. Eventually she was found by the Yoshinaga-gumi and recruited into their ranks as Kumi-in and swore to use her powers for the sake of the clan. She finally has a purpose in life, and is trying to kick her bad habits so as to be a better member of her clan.

After a year in the clan, she would ask her Oyabun if she could become a Shadowrunner to help spread the influence of the clan further than she could as a Kumi-in, and after some consideration, her request was granted and she was given the rank of Komon, so she may better fulfil her new duty. She decides to take the callsign of Akuma, hoping to embody the persuasiveness of a demon to those that would benefit the clan, and the fury of one to those that would oppose it.

Positive

Closer: It's always good to know how to close a deal when the drek hits the fan and you are about to die.

First Impression: First Impressions are always the most important, luckily I know how to make the most of them.

Made Man: Started as a Kumi-in, now I'm a Komon, I will not let my clan down.

Watch the Suit: Hey, I paid good money for this suit, I am not gonna let anyone ruin it.

Negative

Addiction (Mild) (Novacoke): What's the harm in a little bit of the good stuff every now and then?

Dependent (Demanding) (Alcohol): Hard to live the life I've had without a fair bit of liquid courage.

Family Curse: Vice just runs in the family, and it's hard to say no when you've grown up around it.

Insomnia (Basic): Hard to sleep sometimes. The drink doesn't help it any either.
