Summary

A conspiracy theory streamer, an international terrorist, and a catgirl singer walk into a bar. They all want to get out of Germany.

Background

Germany is a fine country for tourism - it's also a fine country for Hibiscus to continue pursuing her musical career, and a wonderful place for Marrisa to pursue her own 'very special business'. When a group comes after Hibiscus, it's an opportunity for them to band together to get out of the country.

The Meet

The trio meet by coincidence in a bar in Germany, where Hibiscus is doing a set. Marrisa, curious about whether Hibiscus is leaving the country, seeks the performer out after her set to seek to join her on the way out. Fennec, on the other hand, butts into their conversation out of pure curiosity at meeting a fellow Seattle-ite on the other side of the world.

When the lights go off and a blast follows shortly after, the whole party is left shocked. All mutually agree that it's time to flee the region.

The Plan

After catching a glimpse of what they believe to be an infected individual fleeing around a corner, the party convenes to discuss their way out. A couple calls and a bit of matrix searching later, and the party has a plan: Determine what the Ordo Maximus is up to in Berlin, and trade that information for a trip home from Hibiscus's contact Crazy Eights.

The Run

The team returns to Biscuits' hostel, and before even getting inside the cab they're in gets shot at. While the catgirl hides behind the car and shouts orders, Fennec toys with the vampire's weapon and yanks files from his commlink. Marrisa on the other hand does all the hard work - taking the vampire down with her electrified blade. Once their foe was in the dirt, Fennec spent a short amount of time reading files while Hibiscus ran inside for their stuff.

The files indicated that the Ordo Maximus was aiming to increase their influence through music sales, and that Hibiscus posed a problem to their plans - three years from now. A curious bit of future sight, that. With that squared away, the party is able to hail a cab to get away from the area.

From there, they get a bus, and while waiting they meet a group of anarchists - well, mostly anarchists. One was outed as a cop in disguise - and when Marrisa is recognized as a potential terrorist, the anarchists are happy to drag the party off to a safehouse. At a touch, Hibiscus has a hard time not stealing essence from one of the anarchists - and, immediately, starts sipping away at their soul. Noticing the odd behavior, Fennec points it out - and Marrisa breaks things up.

Shortly thereafter, the party is picked up by a satyr at the wheel of a tricked out sports car, and with a few jumps over local buildings the driver has them to the docks and cleanly away, having escaped the Ordo Maximus for a return (or a triumphant arrival) to Seattle.

Aftermath

The party splits up on arrival, quite happy to be out of a shipping container and on dry land. Hibiscus made it home safe, Marrisa made it to Seattle unscathed, and Fennec had a bunch of new stories to tell her stream. All in all - a good run to get home.

Wow! I got so much great content from hanging out with two new friends in Germany! I can't wait to tell the stream about the new evidence that infected bug spirits are taking over Saeder-Krupp from the inside! They'll be so excited!

Marrisa

That was an exciting little adventure. I got to meet two lovely ladies, kill a vampire, and get to Seattle all in one go! Shame that one policeman got away, would have preferred to make sure he didn't report us. Ah well, such is life. The car ride I received was certainly... interesting, though.
