Character Information

Backstory

Growing up, Raiden had a complicated life. She grew up in Japan, with a father, a mother, and brother. Her father was a hitman for the Yakuza and he was ruthless in his methods of killing. His family hated the man he had become, but Liquid embraced it. She was born this man who killed so many. She felt it was her destiny. She was born to kill.

Growing up, she took interest in the blade, and practiced Kenjutsu. She was taught under her father, and his method of training was brutal and painful. Raiden didn't care though. She was becoming more and more skilled. Stronger. Faster. At age 15, he had taught her all he could teach in the ways of the sword. So he took up her blade, and challenged him to one last fight. She killed him, now ascending from student, to master. After she had defeated her father, she took the family sword for herself. A high frequency Muramasa Nodachi. Her mother and brother were both disgusted at her, and disowned her as a daughter, and a sister. She simply responded by saying "Do what you will. But I will become Invincible under the Sun".

As she left home, she had to find a way to survive in the outside world. She took up shadowrunning, taking on jobs that required her skills in melee combat. She was constantly grouped with different people in the shdowrun society. On one of these jobs she met someone special. Someone that would change her life. A female decker who couldn't walk, known by her alias in the ahsowrun society (Y3). At first they didn't talk to each other much, but overtime they grew a bond, from being put on alot of missions together. She noticed this girl spent all of her time in the matrix, because of her inability to walk. In the matrix she simulated what it felt like to walk. She grew protective and caring of her, and they eventually fell in love with eachother. This girl has changed Raiden's outlook on life. She had gone from a bloodthirsty killer, to a sophisticated woman, determined to protect her lover. She continues shadowrunning, in hopes she can get the money, to give her girlfriend her legs back, so that they can spend more time in the real world together. Raiden had learned the true meaning to her life.

Goals

Raiden keeps shadowrunning, so that she can raise money, to give her loved one her legs back.

Narrative Significant Qualities

Berserk - Raiden has an alter ego she calls "The Ripper". Once The Ripper "Takes over" It sends her into a berserker state.

SINner (Corporate Limited) - Raiden's mother worked as a wage slave for Renraku.

Unusual Hair - Raiden has naturally white hair, but its very unusual, and stands out.

A High Frequency Muramasa Blade. Its been in Raiden's family for quite some time. It was a centuries old sword, modified into an HF build enhancing its effectiveness, while still maintaining the quality of the original weapon.
