That is exatly what happened to Yuji as the dived around the host poking around thing well above his pay grade.Digging around the files he stumbled on MCT and what they to techos, that did not sit well with him but he left the trail of codes for higherups to notice and dishonourably discharge him, not that also didn't sit well with him as he left HK letting him go a bit and growing his horns even larger. Wandering around he spent more time in matrix then meat and let his physical form degrade and lose some of his sharpness.
