Summary

Background

The Meet

The party met the "Johnson", a human with expensive cyberware by the name of Haruki Uchida. They met at a club in --- called --- to discuss the run.

The Plan

They were tasked with the voluntary extraction of a scientist at an oil rig in Indonesia, operated by Universal Omnitech. They had to find their own person to operate the boat, which ended up being Trades.

The Run

The party bought 200 drams of reagents to contact a massive water spirit known as Wusan. Sticks summoned Wusan to help clear the skies and aid the party in our extraction efforts, which they accepted and granted us driftwood to summon them when needed. Sticks and Zan Zan then used their astral projection to scout the scene, while Trades tried to deactivate cameras and other tech that could compromise their position. When we eventually arrived at the rig, we were caught by patrolling guards. We all successfully lied, and attempted to sneak onto the oil rig. Due to a camera mishap, we were caught again and had to fight. Zan Zan fought solo while Trades acted as backup, and Sticks and Stryker had to rush over to where the scientist is. Zan Zan had to burn an Edge in order to successfully take down a guard that would've otherwise killed her, but we all ran off on boat successfully.

Aftermath

After the party was at a safe distance, the scientist wanted to speak to the party without the eyes of Shiawase.
