Background

It was a bright cold day in April, and the clocks were striking thirteen when John was born. Native to Texas, raised in a military family, his parents John and Martha Bennet both served in the Confederation of American States Airforce. John was raised on-base, but lived a relativily normal life. When he turned 18 he decided to move to Seattle and attend University of Washington for his computer degree.

Living in Seattle the sidewalk was always wet and the threat of rain loomed in the evenings. Mornings were dim and cold. Walks to the bus stop were slow. John watched as his breath smoked and rose above him. This was the day he met Sarah. John took her on dates and was a total gentlemen. So where did it go all wrong, you ask?

Sarah started off as the leader of a hacker group called ShadowCrew. In addition to stealing and selling credstick numbers and biometrics, ShadowCrew also fabricated fraudulent passports, health insurance cards, and SINs. Ultimately, this story turns from a love story to a story about love when John decided to end things but we'll not bore you.

Currently he's single, and spends most his nights at Basil's Faulty Bar getting drunk and watching TV. He owns his own truck, which is also his place of work, a taxi-cab. Basil, the bartender and owner enjoys taking his money in poker and has connected him with a few new employers for "under-the-table" jobs. One final shot of Fomorian Usquebaugh, or Irish-whiskey and spiraling into the Shadows he goes!
