The remaining ganger, however, gets 3 hits on Composure and screams into his commlink about the attack, getting executed in the middle of it by the team. It does alert the rest of the gangers, who move to the outside of the train. And are promptly suppressed by Fischer's drones. The gangers surrender, the train truly stops, and the surviving/not KO'd gangers decide discretion is the better part of valor. They are promptly hunted down by Fischer's drones and shot like dogs, while the KO'd gangers are executed. The team hooks the engine back up and escorts the terrified partygoers back to somewhere 'safe enough'. Afterwards, they take Davis and dump him in a decent part of Renton. With that, the team reports back, and ensures they get their nuyen.

Background

The Johnson has a problem. His customers have been stolen from him by a rival, and he needs them back before he starts losing a lot of profit. Enter runners.

Meet

The meet is at the Crime Mall in Puyallup. On the way over, the runners are accosted by a tagging gang separately. Fischer shocks the tagger with his anti-theft system, Paz shoots out the axle of one of the taggers, and Ranger argues with the guy. When arriving, 'window washers' show up, people who clean the windshields suddenly and pressure people into paying for it. Paz intimidates his away (with help from a security guy coming over), and Fischer warns off his. The runners enter the mall. Fischer meets a Vory weapons dealer while looking over the old BMP-1 being displayed, and offers interest in business if he can acquire something special (a Thunderstruck). The runners then meet up at the meet location for the job. The Johnson gives them the details, get his customers back from this train in any way possible. He offers a lot of drugs as payment at first, then the team talks him into 14k nuyen instead, which he'll need time to get. The team accepts. Around then, they get cybereye footage from someone who was at the site where the train was originally stolen, though all his files have been encrypted by an extorter. Fischer Editors copies of everything quietly and hands them over, saving the cybereye footage for himself. The team finds out about all the gangers who hang onto the side of the train shooting wildly. They then go off to do legwork in Fischer's blimp soon after making a few purchases while at the Mall, where Paz has a training grenade thrown at him as a prank by the owner. Paz proceeds to toss it back in his face and take cover from the upcoming 'explosion', assuming the grenade was real, while the shop owner laughs at him.

Run

The team digs into the gang and the train, finding the schedule and the man leading them, an ork rapper named Milburn Davis who works for Columbia, a Horizon subsidiary. The train was basically chosen as a thing for fun due to his upcoming record deal. They also find out about a slight Gianelli affiliation, and decide to go appease/get permission from the mafia for hitting the gang. Paz and Ranger do so at a nice Italian restaurant, bringing a nice 100 nuyen bottle of wine as well, though a failed Etiquette check does not lighten the mood. They get permission, in exchange for leaving Davis alive and dropped off somewhere, as that would be bad for everyone's business, and it'll still send the message. With a plan to hit the train in motion eventually coming into their minds, the team sets off for the hit at around 2 AM or so.

The runners manage to sneak onto the train, as the gangers are high as a kite and enjoying the party and distracted. Paz heads to the front to stop the engine, decouple the back, and deal with the rapper, Dandy and Ranger jump on the back to hit them from there, and Fischer sets up two rotodrones to hit the middle. Paz tosses two flashbangs in an open door after an ork and another partier come out the back after starting the decoupling, and everyone but the rapper inside goes down, a lucky soak roll saving him. He does not last to a shock hand after, though.

Fischer tries luring the gangers out with some loud, unsuppressed fully automatic Stick-N-Shock gunfire to the train car. The gang and partiers get 0 hits on Perception. He tries again. 0 hits on Perception.

Dandy and Ranger start clearing the back with split pool attacks, and only one ganger survives the assault, where the two intimidate the partiers into staying silent.
