Declining the Meet

I'll try to pick characters that seem to be conducive to doing the job initially in the first place, since letting people play is the goal I'm going for. I'm fine with characters declining the job if the situation changes, though.

Derailing the Run

I'm fine with players not doing what is expected in the run posts, however I've a strong preference to them doing the derail on the same people that I've prepared, with the caveat of the whole team being on board, OOC.

Setting

While the Shadowrun setting is mostly dark, with some points of light, I'd rather emphasize the light. Most players IRL aren't in positions to change society for the better, so I'm preferring to make runs that allow them a sense of meaningfulness, if the run wasn't small scale enough to have the change be notable.

Consequences

I'm of the opinion that players shouldn't be forced into fail states simply because of dice rolls, only from poor judgement. However, if they do enter a fail state, I'm also of the opinion that the most verisimilitudinous effects are the best to handle such things.
