Character Information
Summary
Bunraku doll turned chromed out monowhip muscle and Reality Hacker decker.
Goals
- Kill Glen Kuzuhara
- Figure out who she used to be
- Sabotage the Yaks
Background
175Y 8175Y doesn't remember much about who she used to be. Bits and pieces, like that she's pretty sure she grew up somewhere in Puyallup, but massive parts of her memory have been burned out of her brain after Ghost knows how long of being forced to run personafixes over and over. One thing she does know for sure, though is that she was held by the Kenran-kai against her will and turned into a bunraku puppet. Memory filters weaved into the p-fixes programming have, for better for worse, blurred many of the specifics, but there's still painfully clear flashes from instances where the programming failed. And the constant reminder that she had her identity stolen from her every time she looks in the mirror, having been modified to look like a near-perfect replica of J-Metal idol Angel Kurosawa.
She's not sure how long she spent "working" in her bunraku parlor, owned and operated by one Glen Kuzuhara, but that nightmare came to a sudden end when it was raided by a squad of Reality Hackers trying to fight back against the Yakuza. The gangers were ultimately repelled, but they managed to emancipate several of the women being held there.
With nowhere else to go, 175Y 8175Y hung around some of the gangers that liberated her and asked to be shown the ropes. She quickly proved to be a talented decker, possibly muscle memory left behind from her forgotten past life, and devoted herself towards proving herself to the gang that saved her. However, with only so much work being given to her as a new member of the gang, she looked towards contracting herself out to fund her newfound taste for exotic cyberware and quest for revenge against the Kenran-kai...
Narrative Significant Qualities
Positive
- Biocompatibility (Cyberware)
- Erased - The Yakuza scrubbed her former identity from the SIN registry while she was in their "employ", and did too good of a job. It's made finding anything about her past near-impossible, but there's advantages to having no way to track you online...
- School of Hard Knocks
Negative
- Distinctive Style - When 8175Y found herself freed from the Kenran-kai's clutches, she didn't recognize the face she saw in the mirror. So she started changing it, and the rest of her body. She's quickly developed a taste for obvious, exotic cyberware in gold and chrome.
- Dry Addict (Severe): Personafix BTLs - The mere idea of slotting another p-fix after her time as a bunraku doll makes her sick, but that neurological dependency still lingers just beneath the surface... She's managed to avoid the horrid things for the past few months with the help of her gang, but will it last?
- Poor Self Control (Vindictive) - After everything she's been through, 175Y 8175Y is a tightly wound bundle of anger, waiting for a reason to let it out. God help you if you give her that reason.
- Vendetta (Glen Kuzuhara) - For better or worse, 8175Y doesn't remember much about her time as a bunraku puppet, but one man's face is burned into her memory: Glen Kuzuhara, the man who ran the bunraku parlor she "worked" in. A higher-up in the Kenran-kai, it'd be suicide to try to take him down. Good thing she's not afraid to die.

Appearance
Before she started adding on her own cyberware, 157Y 8157Y was modified by her Yakuza captors to look like a near-perfect replica of J-Metal star Angel Kurosawa, of Swallowtail Fall and Terra Inferno fame, including the custom cosmetics cyberware the artist was known for.
Since being freed, she's been cramming as much flashy chrome into her body as she can manage. All four of her limbs have been replaced with inelegant gold and chrome cybernetics, big and bulky sensors have replaced her eyes, and a large, glowing tattoo of a spider covers her back.
