"Local activist Alain 'Al' Levant was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital with life threatening injuries last night after being assaulted on the University of Toronto - Mississauga campus. Mr. Levant had given a talk on social activism and social responsibility. He is reported to be in stable condition."
