Background
The aftermath of Midnight. Not all the stuff is possessed; there's loot to be had and no one else is moving in yet.
Meet And Run
The runners get to the warehouse, witness a man lose his leg (which proceeds to hop down the road without him), and test the scene with a couple Sony Angels, which become Invested with gremlins (the demon spirits). Shepard nearly loses karma and does fall to some mental influence by a gremlin that Invests his helmet. The rest of the team manages to intervene. Once it's been determined that the area is safe enough, the team enters the warehouse. Shepard falls to an illusion which, once he's snapped out of it, he declares to be Arch-Heresy or something to that effect and decides he's going to destroy all these demons for it. He proceeds to do so, with the help of everyone not currently trying to fight their own possessed cyberarm.
Aftermath
Loot is had, a warehouse is burned down, and the helmet combines with the hopping leg and leave. The cyberarm is exorcised successfully.
Rewards
60000 nuyen's worth of cyberware up to alphaware, assorted weapons and tech gear.
Player Characters
Ashe
Ashe had been curious what was in that briefcase the Yauza had paid her to deliver to the Triads, and now she had the chance to find out. Her fixer, Madame Butterfly, had called to tell her that, 24 hours later, the warehouse was now abandoned, and no one had moved in to claim the location, or its contents. Ashe didn't normally like resorting to petty scavenging, but she had noticed some eye catching gear in that warehouse when she infiltrated earlier. She packed up a few things and went to the location.
Once there, she met up with a few other Haven runners who must've received similar tip offs. she didn't like the thought of splitting the haul, but she did like the thought of a little backup while dealing with whatever that briefcase had unleashed to keep the Barrens from reclaiming the warehouse. Upon entering the warehouse, it became clear what had happened. Many pieces of technology in the warehouse, including several pieces of cyberware and turrets, were possessed by some manner of spirit. After a lengthy battle neutralizing the rogue pieces of technology, the team secured the unaffected equipment for themselves. Ashe found a few weapons that she liked, as well as a suit of full body armor with some nice upgrades. She packed up her gear and went home satisfied as one of her strangely devout companions set the place ablaze.
