Bethany is a rather typical Elven metatype, at least externally. Short and slim, Bethany never stood out in her youth. She has clear blue eyes and long brown hair. While being physically fit, Bethany does not hold an exaggerated physique and can be unassuming when she wishes to be.
Bethany typically keeps her hair in a ponytail or pulled up under a hat. This is the first time she has grown it out to any real length. She likes it but does not know what to do with it.
Bethany typically uses minimal makeup- she has learned what is needed to not draw extra attention. Beyond that she puts little effort into it.
Bethany has a thing for cat ear accessories. She typically is wearing at least a cat ear headband to keep her hair out of her face. She is eyeing a cat ear motorcycle helmet. Once she gets a motorcycle.
Bethany almost always has a knife and pistol secreted away on her person somewhere. When appropriate she brings her katana with her.
Bethany likes running the shadows. Right now, her short term goals are to acquire some more gear and secure some more contacts. After that she doesn't know. Every day she is tempted to rejoin her old outfit but right now, living alone is good for her.
Bunny's midterms goals revolve around developing enough street cred to not be used as expendable canon fodder every time she takes a job. Kind of hard when you work in the shadows.
Bunny's long term goals revolve finding a small crew she can regularly work with. using the word depend is too much.
Bethany grew up in the slums of Seattle. Her life was rather typical for one of the undocumented children of the city. Then, around puberty her abilities began to manifest. At first she was just more agile then her friends. Then, as her abilities became more pronounced, she reveled in her abilities. Soon she began drawing attention. Barely escaping a few corporate recruitment drives amongst the lesser neighborhoods, Bethany did her best to keep her head down.
Bethany fell into a few street gangs before she found a mercenary outfit needing an ammo bunny. Jumping at the chance to leave the city, Bethany spent over a decade with the group before splitting ways. Finding herself back in Seattle once more- and in her old home neighborhood at that is a confusing mix of nostalgic comfort and barely hidden anxiety rolled into one.
Making it alone was harder then Bethany expected. She found herself with bills she could not afford with the pay being offered to her for the work she could find. It took less than a week to use her old contacts to make some new friends in the City. A few phone calls put her in touch with Ellie Esps, a rather bougie fixer.
Bethany's first run involved securing a noncombat held in a chemically induced coma from a private hospital. It went smoothly until the Mark woe up as they were leaving through the garage exit. Security noticed and a rather public car chase ensured. Thankfully the team decker was as good as the driver and the team made it out with nothing but a rush of adrenaline and spent lead.
Bunny's second run went bad from the beginning. She was hired as extra muscle for a tech deal between a street broker and a Mr. Johnson. Unfortunately there was double crosses and betrayals planned from the beginning. Bunny's Client and Mr. Johnson both died. Two of Bunny's security team also died, taking down equal number of Johnson's security detail. A halt fire was only called when everyone realized their prospective clients were dead.
Bunny's next two deals were setup through a new contact Bunny made recently. Antonio Clarke cold called Bunny, offering her a job. He had heard about the fight with Mr. Johnson's men and was impressed. The first job Antonio looped her in on was a snooping gig. In truth, it was some of the most fun Bunny had since arriving in Seattle. She got to sit in a helicopter and shoot targeted vehicles with a stealth tag for 6 hours. She had no idea why she was tagging the cars she was, but she did. As far as she was concerned, it was a clean, smooth job.
Bunny's second job through Antonio was much more dangerous. Corporate espionage requiring breaking into a remote data center, copying its contents and wiping it clean. It went fine until the exit. An alarm was missed by the team and they were surrounded by corporate security. One of the most heated firefights Bunny had ever been a part of took place. The results were the destruction of most of Bunny's operational gear.
