Summary
Shogoki and Akuma were tasked by the J to help his sister escape an abusive relationship. Since the abuser was a higher ranking member of the Chulos than Michael was, he appointed two runners to make sure it wouldn't be traced back to him. Shogoki convinced the abuser to race him in exchange for the sister and her baby. Shogoki "won" by shooting the tire of the truck, then came to the crash site to confront him. After the interaction went south, Shogoki killed him in a fit of rage. Thankfully, the runners, the sister, and her baby went back to the meeting point safe and sound.
Background
Shogoki and Akuma were tasked by the J (Michael Montreal) to help his sister and her baby (Michelle and Marcy Montreal) escape an abusive relationship after she was forced to cut contact with him. Since the abuser (Jesus Cadaval) was a higher ranking member of the Chulos than Michael was, he appointed two runners to make sure it wouldn't be traced back to him. He asked to bring Michelle and Marcy back to their meeting point to avoid rousing suspicion.
The Meet
Michael asked for Shogoki and Akuma to meet at Desmond's Cajun Delights to give them the details of the run.
The Plan
Shogoki planned to ask Jesus to race him, with Michelle and Marcy as the prize if he were to win. Akuma would be offered as the prize if Jesus won, making herself purposely small and timid in order to be more attractive.
The Run
Shogoki proposed the race to Jesus in the dead of night, which he accepted excitedly when he checked out Akuma. Shogoki almost lost, until he blew the tire of Jesus' truck. After he crossed the finish line, he decided to confront Jesus about Michelle while he was checking for damages on his truck. Jesus was snide and uncooperative, signaling his crew for reinforcement through DNI when he recognized the situation as threatening, realizing that he was set up so Michelle and Marcy could escape. Shogoki blew his hand off, and told him to call off the reinforcements unless he wants to die. Jesus called his bluff, knowing that Michelle wouldn't want him dead, but Shogoki proved his bluff wrong by shooting him in the chest. In the meantime, Akuma drove Michelle and Marcy to a more hidden area to make sure they aren't caught by Jesus' reinforcements. Shogoki drove Jesus' truck to the same meeting point, then placed a brick on the truck's horn to divert attention away from their own car. They managed to go back to Desmond's Cajun Goods safe and sound.
Aftermath
Since Shogoki killed Jesus, and the DNI detailed what Jesus knew about the run and his suspicions, this resulted in Michael, Michelle, and Marcy being on the run from the Chulos. Needing a new place to live, Akuma let them stay in the Yoshinaga-gumi clan territory for them to stay safe. Though it was messy, Michael still considered the run to be a success and as such paid them appropriately.
