Character Information
Summary
Military weapons platform, Heavens Gate unit 021. One of the few successes out of the non-mega PTT go of things. Deserted from the Wichita infestation and is turning to the shadows.
Backstory
021 emerged from the tank on Christmas Eve 2062. Her genetic parents probably would never come to know her. This worked well for the intentions of the UCAS military, designing 021 as equal parts assassin and soldier while trusting her training as she grew up to account for the shortfalls of the lab. If she had nothing to know outside of warfare and the comrades she made within the military, controlling the young woman would be easy.
And it was, for a while. When she awoke after getting her meat limbs replaced - the tank having been miscalibrated resulting in them being atrophied and deformed - the handlers for the remaining 4 Heaven's Gate successes were ecstatic. Of course, there were grumblings that they may have had a powerful mage, but most realized that a wheelchair-bound combat adept likely wouldn't be the gold star that they wanted. Nearly completely burnt out and still able to have magic coursing through her veins? A feat to be sure.
And then Wichita happened.
Sure, there was nearly a decade of training these young weapons soldiers, but Wichita changed the rules of engagement. No longer was it 'enter the building and either capture or neutralize the threat.' Now the objective was 'survive.' And the casualty rates kept climbing. Even when 021 lost her eye on the first week of deployment, she was back out before long as it was what she was built to do. Then one squad went down. Then two. Three days later she saw among the enemy ranks what looked like familiar faces, some now with malformed and horrible bodies. Conditioning could only account for so much - she climbed into a car and high tailed it out of the hotzone as fast she could.
UCAS military is not pleased with this news.

Narrative Significant Qualities
Positive
- Adept, against all odds - Magic may have at one point flowed tremendously through her soul, but the lab work done to her took away so much to the point that under normal circumstances she would have burnt out completely. Luckily for Heaven, her magic proved stubborn.
- Prototype Transhuman - lab made for the UCAS military, Heaven was built to be a weapon and to integrate with the troops

Negative
- Busted Cyberware - Never take speedware deals. It just doesn't work.
- Paranoia - Hunting bugs as your first deployment - especially when they can pop out of anywhere? It fucks you up.
- Insomnia - Between the growth tank processes and the paranoia, yeah sleep is gone for good.
- Wanted - UCAS Military wants her back. To the fine tune of 80k nuyen. And they want her alive.
- Reduced Sight - Shrapnel took her left eye when enemy mortar fire hit her position.

Appearance
A tall and well built orc woman, her ears are still slightly pointed despite her facial surgery. Strictly speaking she's easy on the eyes, but between her 'winning' (see: cagey) personality and missing eye, she can be a bit difficult to interact with.
Of note, despite the reference image, Heaven is dark skinned, and her black hair is done back in a viking braid.
