"This is DJ Samson glad to offer a community update and a little local news for the streets of the Crescent City.

We all know how the CIty and NOPD has been cracking down on the local culture for decades, and sometimes for good reason. But there are those of us who want this city to be the *best* and most magical city in the world, not just the stuff of nightmares and the worst violent crime registry in the city.

For those of us who miss the second lines that came before our city was overrun, some truly incredible news has made it to my desk.

The Pigeon Town Steppers pulled it off! A gathering of some 12 Social Aid clubs were assisted by a newly emergent club and the final six tribes of the Mardi Gras Gangs in the lower wards. NOPD took a lucky bomb scare leaving only out of towners from Lone Star and Lone Star Tactical Division to try and route a few hundred civilians just out for a little merriment and stepping in the streets.

The lower wards have electricity in the air that this city hasn't felt for years.

Now keep in mind folks, the streets are still dangerous at night, and I am not saying run out there to face the darkness alone.

I am saying keep your ears and eyes peeled for more parades in the near future, because the city has just officially ended the moratorium on parade permits.."
