Background

Jacklyn Reed, Highball, comes from long military family roots. Her father was a Major in the UCAS Army, his Father was a Colonel and so on and so forth.

Born in DC but moved about often due to family's assignments all around UCAS, never truly establishing herself early on, but having more technical education due to tendencies of Army teachers focusing on such topics. Nevertheless at the age of 16, Jacklyn was a victim of an unfortunate critter attack upon the base she lived at the time, losing her full limb capility at such a young age. Early installation of cyberware seemed to have made her body much more acclimated to chrome, and the withdrawal was slight, if almost not present. What hurt much more in the end was the fact her father was blamed for this attack, resulting in his demotion, family breaking and parents divorcing.

Returning to DC, Jacklyn's mother took rights over her daughter and son, landed a soft administrative job within the Army and has let her children finish their education.

Jacklyn finished DCU with a degree in Law, but her next career step was not up to her mother's liking. Young Reed went to join Lone Star Security Services. Transferred to Seattle she did her minimum before applying for Tactical Division's S.W.A.T. team and performing quite well there for a long while, preventing Shadowrunners even at times. During that time she was nicknamed Highball by her fellow operatives as a result of a speeding ticket she got.

But in 2071 contract with Seattle was terminated and she was moved to CAS, Texas, The LS HQ. It was a big promotion, but a few years came by and after eleven years of work she finally had enough. Texas turned out to be a disaster with way too much red tape, covering up, following unlawful orders and people fighting for promotions like any other corporation.

Packed the minimum she needed onto a bike and went off to travel by herself and live off any odd-jobs she could.

Narrative Significant Qualities

Positive

Technical School Education/College Education/Logic 5: Jacklyn displayed near perfect mental aptitutde with mind solid like steel while able to bend like clay.

Adrenaline Surge: "GO GO GO!" the shouting in Jacklyn's head repeats itself every time the fight goes off. Action begins, be first to act, save people, quick, quick, quick!

Biocompatibility (Cyberware): Early cyberware installation have made Jacklyn's body more adaptable to the idea of chrome, making her withdrawal non-existant.

Negative

Insomnia: All these years working in S.W.A.T. has made Jacklyn unable to easily sleep. She always was in action, she always was needed and time off practically did not exist.

Poor Self Control(Combat Monster): Again, years of working in S.W.A.T. made her mindset much more brutal, unable to accept defeat, unable to fall back. Once you're in, you're in.
