Background
Jacques used to be a janitor at a mid-level corp. Not a prestigious job, but one that paid the bills, and plenty of fringe benefits.
Then industrial espionage led to a hostile takeover, the corp assets being sold off, and the former employees blacklisted by association. Including Jacques: now out on the street with nothing to his name.
He's a pragmatic guy. He has no desire for revenge; it's a dog-eat-dog world, and his dog just got eaten. Now he's looking for a new career. Industrial espionage clearly pays well - let's try that.
