Karen: Okay, so we all know about what went on at the Vasquez house by now. No need to rehash that. What we need to do is talk security. Some hacker broke into a smarthouse's system like it was no big deal. Are any of us safe from hackers?

Karen: I said we don't need to rehash that. Let the Vasquez family work it out between themselves and their divorce lawyer.

Trisha: Would've gotten away with it too, if Marisol hadn't hired two private investigators from who knows where.

Thomas: Let's drop it, Trish.

Trisha: Right, but what I'm saying is that hacker wouldn't have stood much of a chance otherwise. You'd have to be like, shadowrunners to deal with smart appliances.

Karen: But what if we are targeted by shadowrunners? We have a lot of valuable belongings and we are valuable to our employers as well.

Thomas: So what do you propose, Karen? It sounds like Trisha thinks we don't need to worry.

Karen: That's exactly when they'll hit. We need to petititon the housing authority to impose higher minimum regulations on device security...
