Summary

Juliet Taft (no, she's not actually named Charlotte, what kind of drekhead runner would use their actual real name?) is a mysterious and reclusive figure, rarely seen leaving her home, always shrouded in darkness and obscurity, both literally and figuratively. In truth, beyond her vampirism making it difficult to go outside during the day, she has spent much of her life plagued by sickness and frailty, and from the very real threats posed by the outside world, has developed a pathological and debilitating fear of it.

To work around this fear, and to alleviate the overwhelming loneliness of her solitary lifestyle, she depends on several "daughters", humanlike anthrodrones able to better tolerate the world beyond Juliet's home. Over time, they have become extensions of herself not only physically, but socially, to the point where it's unclear where, exactly, the daughters' hardcoded personalities end and Juliet's own influence begins. To her, they are more than tools, but genuine family members, sharing a bond that many would describe as potentially unhealthy - but, then, Juliet never much was one for good health in the first place.

Juliet much prefers to stay on the sidelines, keeping watch over her daughters from a distance and providing alchemical aid when necessary. Her Merciful Daughter is a close combatant and heavy-hitter, but also is equipped to provide on-the-go medical support. Her Diligent Daughter is equipped with a high-power sniper rifle and several additional sensors to make full use of it. Her Radiant Daughter is nimble, stealthy, and the most sociable. All three of them are also creepy as hell.

Narrative Significant Qualities

Positive

• Infected (Vampire): Her health failing, Charlotte turned to a number of increasingly desperate treatment methods. Purposefully contracting HMHVV slowed the worst of her illness, but it couldn't exactly be called an improvement.
• Method Actor
• Mentor Spirit (Spider) + Mentor's Mask: The Mother of Puppets is Charlotte's god, and her mentor, and also maybe a facet of her own self? It's kind of complicated. But it is by Her grace that Charlotte can weave her enchantments, and protect her daughters just as they protect her.

Negative

• Basement Dweller + Social Appearance Anxiety 3 + Phobia (Common, Severe, Agoraphobic): Outside is bad. Outside hurts you. Mother has her Daughters to go outside for her, so she never has to.
• Illness 3 + Weak Immune System: Mother Charlotte's fear of the outdoors isn't entirely misplaced. There's a good chance the fresh air might actually kill her.
• Emotional Attachment: This one probably doesn't need any further explanation. Please don't murder her robot children.
