Character Information

Summary

Xavier has two appearances one is seldom seen as he is ashamed of his elven heritage, only close friends, lovers, and relatives see this side. He is tall and with a lithe build, his cyberware though meant to hide his features (thanks to his friend and street doc who installed it) it does little to make him look machinelike other than the eyes. He speaks with quiet eloquence, but there always seems to be a troubled tone to his voice. His body is scar-riddled from years of abuse in the military then prison.

His public persona "Onyx Phase" never takes off the Custom built Ballistic mask which hides his face and ears, the mirrored design giving the person he's talking to an eerie reflection of their own face some find disturbing. Due to his training, he has attire for all occasions from the basic street clothes and jacket (still armored), to some high-end custom tailored suits and outfits for high society jobs. He generally keeps to himself, though he can be charismatic, years of self-loathing and Keeping in the shadows to avoid the ridicule he faces as a child makes keeps his social circles rather tight and closed. Over the years he has tempered his hatred of Elves realization of it not being any particular persons fault coming with age though some old prejudice still remains.

Background

Xavier was born in the beginning of the awakening, a UGE baby and suffered the initial prejudices of his kind during that time. The constant berating and belittling growing up caused him to resent himself and the elven race for making him this way. When he was age he joined up with the UCAS military and became a special operator, he was summarily discharged after cold cocking his superior (and elven) officer, after spending time in a military prison.he was dishonarably discharged. His family was fortunatly well off and he inherited some of their savings when they died during a riot in Ohio. After spending years wandring from dead end Rent a cop job to Security work. The entire time spending his money on Cyberware to make him look more human than elf. After a string of bad luck during a Security job for an Ares subsidary, Alexus found him wallowing in a bar, having been a friend of the family, he offered Xavier two things, a new life where noone gave two dreks about his background, and an outlet for his misfocused self hatred and loathing, the shadows. Xavier took to it and with his military background and tacticle knowledge he firt in well, adopting the name Onyx Phase he picked up some fake SINs leaving the life of Xavier behind him, hopefully for good.
