A Shared Story Project

Thematics

“Everything has a price” is the one unavoidable rule in the Sixth World. The way you pay those prices can be nuyen, morality, or even your life. There is a classic tale though, that claims that “Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name.” To this end, there are places set up as neutral grounds for those who can find them.

One such place is the back room of Gus’ Bar in the Redmond Barrens, which leads down to a steel door with a simple message written above it. “Leave everything at the door, bring only your nuyen”. This message lets those who enter know that nothing that happens outside affects the inside and vice-versa. Beyond the door is an underground casino known as “The Shadow Lounge.”

The Shadow Lounge is a kind of neutral ground for shadowrunners, organized crime and corporations, along with all the other members of the shadow community. It thrives on customer service and anonymity, while it is unknown who owns and operates the Shadow Lounge, the rumors are as varied as the clientele.

With the establishment of the ShadowHaven, The Shadow Lounge has offered up a special privilege to their community; a private back room where runners can put aside their issues, bet their hard earned "nooj", and play some cards.
