Summary

Rose Smith was born on October 20th, 2036. She was raised in an orphanage. Rose was a fairly normal child, though a bit anti-social, always with her nose in a book. Eventually becoming a doctoral graduate of Texas A&M University. On November 1, 2064, Rose boarded a flight from Houston to Seattle, at the request of a Chief Operating Officer at Harborview Hospital. At approx 0400 hours, four in the morning the Matrix Crash 2.0 struck while her plane was passing over the remainder of the Rocky Mountains, sending the plane's auto-pilot offline and into an uncontrolled dive.

       *flashback* She woke in the cold dark. The sound of wind whistling in her ears ...almost deafening. She could smell pine, like Pine trees near her childhood home in Texas. Sitting still... frightened and unable to move she listened. She could make out voices, from where she didn't know, "one human survivors here, the infection saved their life." Then a female voice, "how many more does the doctor need? how many more innocent people must we infect before we can be free?" The man replied, "I don't know.." */flashback*

Later she found found out her saviors and captors were Shadowrunners. They didn't bring her any harm. But she was now also infected with HMHVV. They had a change of heart. She found out they were indentured under an anonymous man, who kept their only child prisoner. He would have them infect people, he didn't care who, as long as they kept delivering new infected humans their child would live.

They taught her to deal with her... vampiric needs. How to not get caught. Which Street Docs in the Barrens of Seattle to visit. The Doctors were paid large sums of credits in exchange for blood and mortally wounded, soon dead gangers. What was normally a chore for a Doc, the cleanup, was now a lucrative business.

In present day, Rose has lost connection with her saviors. They just disappeared, no notes or messages. The street Docs only knew the two Shadowrunners, they didn't know their Fixer, or what corporation was pulling the strings, nor did they want to talk about it. So she quit asking. She has managed to hide herself among the public so far. Working out of a bar in Downtown Seattle, the Daze. She works the night shift, and leaves in the morning for home before the sun rises.

Goals

• Hide vampirism.
• Earn enough nuyen to keep affording the.. exotic materials she requires to stay alive, and unchained, and morally sound as a Vampire.

Narrative Significant Qualities

• If she goes too long without feeding her social skills rapidly degrade, and her eyes glow red.
• Infection activated recessive magical genes. She gained the ability to heal, stun, detect life, enhance her vision, improve her reflexes and magically shape her beauty at will.
• Super paranoid about anyone finding out she has a HMHVV
• Uses disguises to hide paleness of skin, and create false Elf-ears.
• Fakes being an elf to hide fact she has virus. Elves are often slighter in build than human & infected-elves become Banshees,
• Her street doc contacts have steady supply of metahuman blood and occassionall near-dead ganger for... "essence extraction".
• Does not feed on essence for power, only in situations where target is guaranteed to die regardless and zero chance of her being caught.
