Summary

Over nine feet tall and weighing a quarter ton, Konstantin Adamos cuts an imposing figure, even to those who are used to dealing with metas his size. However, he's actually pretty easygoing, by and large, only having a few strong beliefs (although he is absolutely willing to kill for those beliefs), which mainly focus around loyalty to allies and family, the importance of keeping promises, and deep hatred of both meta-racists and unethical testing.

Background

Konstantin's mother died in childbirth, and his father worked for SK as a janitor, but when he awakened as an adept, he offered his familiy a change in fortunes. He was quickly recruited into an SK-run private corpsec firm, Sigma Acquisitions, where he was part of a team dedicated to collecting various research specimens. At first, he worked with metafauna, and the jobs were simple and ethically pretty clean-cut. It was a high-stakes safari, collecting samples for the eggheads back in the labs, hunting down beasts, and stretching his magical muscles freely for the first time in his life. He was making better money than anyone in his family had since well before the Goblinization, and his paycheck and benefits from SK helped take care of his father's medical bills. Things started to change when he got "promoted" to Infected Acquisitions Duty. He fought and captured various Infected for a couple years before a new guy on the squad screwed up an extraction and got half the team fragged. Konstantin was one of the lucky ones, and got Infected himself. When he reported back in to HQ, he was locked up and treated as just one more test subject. He eventually broke out, fled to Seattle, and the rest is history.
