Summary
Ms. K has an infestation problem of some kind in a unique property in Snohomish with a relatively short timer before a showing. She contacts the Haven to get some temporary resources.
Background
Two years ago a relatively respectable corporate shaman owned the place, before rumors became abundant that he was slipping towards toxic projects. He dissapeared shortly after and his "glass house" in Snohomish has been empty since.
The Meet
Ms. K invited the runners to the lunch park across from Urban Pest Control, Redmond, and explains the situation involving the house and an off books UPC crew going missing in it. The team negotiates for some payroll alternatives and a small bonus on completion a d headed off.
The Plan
Sneak over to the guarded neighborhood, get as much info as they could on the house and perhaps begin the job live.
The Run
The team stopped to discuss for a bit, eventually deciding to simply head over to the house and see how it looks, possibly going in and handling things on arrival. The team beats the scanners to get into Snohomish after piling into Geodesics' new Hyundai. They drive by the gated community and check out the gate guard shack. Stopping down the street to make a general plan, they pull back up to the shack, directly hacking the neighborhood sin scanner to allow a positive result and pull on through with a round of "acting casual" to not draw the attention of the two guards in the guard shack.
Driving a relatively neighborhood appropriate vehicle, they find the Cul De Sac, Geo's SIN dinged once but not twice and the crew pulled back to the house with a skin of their teeth drive casual check. Digifex hacked the garage door opener as the gang realized there was a meter long rat in the garage. Pullin Geo's car in, the devil rat scurried out into the evening concealing itself from neighborhood view. The gang examined the UPC Redmond van in the garage, checking out the remaining gear in it and starting it up to confirm it was their off book and registered as somewhere else in town. Quickly shutting it back down when they realized it would want to connect back to the host soon.
They keep Marks on the garage comlink and head into the house, examining the property and slicing the pie. Giving the controller of the devil rat infestation cause to lure them downstairs rather than try to push a confrontation upstairs. The team does slowly cut through the first floor, finding the home utility panel and commlink, digging out a butter knife as a tool and opening the panel, Geodesic finds the wire has been meticulously chewed through by the rats.
The team sneaks down to the basement, immediately besieged by a few waves of devil rats that they turn back with a combination of suppressing fire, magic and casual violence. A Demon rat makes its presence known, spewing corrosive spit from above as they team hears a porthole unlock and a splash, along with the noise of running water. As with most supernatural threats, the hazard was identified relatively quickly and Rurosha went on the move to find the sludge, leaving everyone else to handle the Demon rat. The sludge attempted to sneak behind the team and Rurosha quickly applied killing hands while the rest of the team laid down fire on the Demon and remaining devil rats, making short work of a potentially deadly toxic situaton.
The team found the bodies of the UPC employees and moved them up to the van, then suppressed the van's computer while the took it across Redmond and torched it in Glow city after a certain amount of looting.
Aftermath
The Johnson is relatively happy, sending in a toxic cleanup team to handle the sludge's birthplace and the house is relatively clear of easily accessible supernatural threats.

Player After Action Reports (AARs)
Digifex - Everything about this job brought me back - the glass house, having to break and enter all tactical like we're Ancients getting what we're owed and about to light up some elven father of three, I wouldn't've believed you if you said it was 2085 if my clock didn't work.
Obsidian - It's good to be part of a good old fashion breach and clear again. Even better that it went well this time~ The supernatural threat is intriguing...maybe I will need something for that in the days to come...I'm sure Mentor will have ideas.
Geodesic - Okay. First of all. What kind of paranoid fragger. Fills their walls with saltwater. And people say. That I'M weird. Frowning face... Regardless. People had mentioned things like this spirit. On that "IRC chat." But they really didn't mention. How hideous. And shuddering. It was. Plus. The smell. Ugh. I'm glad. That the magic swordswoman. Dealt with it. I should... probably do research. In case there isn't a magic swordswoman next time. And also. Get this armor. Chemically sealed. The smell...
