Summary

Sticks requested help to rescue some animals from the streets of Redmond. After the radiation storm, he claimed that the rise in residents that moved away resulted in an increase of stray animals. There were also rumors of someone kidnapping dogs to turn into RadHounds. The party would help with rescuing the animals off the streets and investigate the rumor, with no promise of reward except for the lives they've saved along the way. And for Oberon... A decent meal.

Background

The Meet

Sticks met the party at The Daze to fill them in on the mission objective. They were given a thermos of chicken noodle soup as a meal for the day, which Oberon subtly gave to Nez by pouring it into her thermos.

The Plan

They were to rescue a good chunk of the stray animals off the streets of Redmond, and figure out the rumors behind the distribution of RadHounds.

The Run

They managed to rescue a LOT of animals from Redmond thanks to Nez. They brought them to a local area that Nez knew of that would take the animals in. Delver and Psyche found a local gangster that knew of a distributor in the slums, thanks to the intimidation of Delver. They found the house and spoke the code that allowed them to enter, and they intimidated the distributor into revealing the operation. He revealed his name was Gary, and that he's a middleman due to a debt he acquired from gambling. He kidnaps the dogs and brings them to a group of gangers that work for the boss of the operation, and he gets the RadHounds that were created by the boss. He told them that they'd be able to find the gangers at a local dogfighting ring, as they often bring in the RadHounds for people to bet on. Oberon decided against eating him. No slurp.

Aftermath

The information was given to Sticks, which will lead to the next run of the metaplot.
