Overview

A Barrens native, Jessica Velburn has known since she was a little girl that getting ahead in life was a matter of playing to every out and taking anything and everything you could get your hands on. Awakening as a mage and following the Black Magic teachings was basically destiny. In her adult life, the woman known as Ledgermain uses her looks, her wits, her magic, everything to get ahead in life. She'll work with basically anyone, but she values her own ability to operate independently both for her own autonomy and because she's too disloyal to work with anyone long term without some kind of caveat.

GM Notes

• Ledgermain is the type to invade privacy and flaunt herself to get an advantage.
• If you do get her talking magic, she's actually quite the amicable conversationalist, but she WILL try to steer things towards business
• She does not work for nothing. In any mention of work or a deal or anything whatsoever, try to find a way for her to get a benefit out of the situation at hand.

Out for Herself	A girl's gotta look out for number one right? And that means that if you want something outside her usual business, you better make it worth her while. Calling on Ledgermain to help with anything not covered by gear acquisition for magical goods costs a chip.

Magician	Ledgermain awakened early, and damn lucky at that. She can provide assistance with rituals, summoning, and binding as a Black Magic Magician.
Criminal Consigliere	Being the kind of woman who turns heads and isn't afraid to use that, Ledgermain has some sway with smaller players on the streets. +2 to networking for gang-affiliated people.
Talismonger by Trade	This IS her official job, and despite her ruthless pragmatism she does actually make a good product. +2 to gear acquisition for foci (they're made by her so don't go losing it, slitch.)
Alchemist	If you really need it, Ledgermain can hook you up with preps, but you either need to buy a vault off of her or get one yourself for it. She can make contact preps for Improved Invisibility, Detect Enemies, Gecko Crawl, Mindnet, or Physical Mask.
Make it Worth My While	Jessica always wants in on interesting things - especially if they can be useful to her later. At a GM's Discretion on table, you may give secrets out to Ledgermain, and if she deems it worthwhile you'll gain a chip on her in return.
Ritual Tracker	Ledgermain's got a worrying amount of rituals for getting people back at a distance, so if you need her help with that she might just humor you for the right price. She has access to the rituals Remote Sensing, Prodigal Spell, and Curse, along with Detect Individual, Detect Enemies, Mind Probe, Manabolt, Fireball, Foreboding, and Mass Agony
