Summary

Background

Crunch has known Trousse for a while now, and Trousse needs a favor--A drug run. Why the gnome? Well, everyone else was busy. This interrupts her time with Zenith's unicorn, leaving her covered in glitter and ready to do crime.

The Meet

A dead drop at a park in Redmond, where folk are walking their dogs, cats and devil rats; the dead drop is on the bench in a sleek black case. Cracking it open it contains green and purple speckled betameth, which appears to have been untampered with.

The Plan

Run some drugs from one geolocation to another, how hard could that be?

The Run

Crunch once suited up and Daisy and Duke in the safety of the Pinnacle House, heads for the burnt out storefront that leads to a few of the underground areas of Redmond. Crawling down into the hallway, all that can be heard is loud rave music, and the distinct heat of bodies deeper in. Moving through the maze, Crunch comes to a T junction, one side bearing the loud music and the other bears a low, animalistic groan of pain. Finding a figure pressed against a wall and a trail of blood showing they had been crawling for some time, Crunch is presented with a oxidized copper colored drake, fading fast towards unconsciousness. Shot in the hip by an assault cannon, Willis is being chased by bounty hunters or runners, or talismongers. Willis used to work for Veorvinteth, one of the dragons involved in The Anniversary. Once her new drake friend is patched up, she has him head for the exit while she sprints towards the club. Upon entering into the club, Crunch is directed towards Alexander-James Brodrick Johnson III, better known as Brodie J. After watching him headbutt Vee, she confirms this is what he wanted, and grabs his commcode to return to the party later. Running back the way she came she sees Willis had made it not that far. Trying to keep him awake while they move out of the underground, Crunch asks Willis about his life. Willis used to be a regional manager for Dragon Japes, but has disassociated himself from the drake life because he doesn't want to be a criminal.

Finally getting herself and the drake out of the underground, Willis returns to his human form while Crunch pulls her scooter around. Calling Dr. Tony Hanks Crunch explains the situation to the good doctor before beginning to stealthy bring Willis in for proper care. Riding through the streets, the gnome notices an unmarked van that has been following them. Beginning to shake them off, the van fires an assault cannon at them on the dodge scoot, narrowly missing Willis as they scoot away from death. Sneaking the drake in by the back of the Lady Grace Free Clinic, Crunch helps Dr. Hanks and recieves Willis' commcode. Once the drake passes out, she reaffirms that Dr. Hanks knows who to call if things get messy, and then goes to party.

Aftermath

One Drake Friend! And also all of the problems with having a drake friend.
