Summary
Hotdog horseshoes and hand grenades. That's what you get when you deal with the Val Sisters. Yorshka is no difference! And yesterday, her van was jacked by a local go gang. So, she registered the help of some folks who snagged themselves some nice gear, too. Hotdog makes a deal with Mother of Mayhem to secure new turf, to which hotdog happily agrees.
Background
Yorshka Val, sister of Llewin Val. She was out for dinner, and accidentally had her car jacked. So, she needed some people to nab it back. She reached out to the shadow community, and hired the help of Hotdog and Throwback.
As well, Hotdog, working for the Halloweeners gets instructions from Mother of Mayhem to seek out some extra turf from this gig, as there might be something worth snooping for at this location.
The Meet
The duo of runners met Llewin on a nearby rooftop and launched some explosives for stress relief. Llewin, seemingly talking to an invisible person named Ezra gave the encounter a spooky feeling, especially when they realize the missiles they were shooting were live. After some negotiating, they found out the where and whate of their gig, and set off to get it done.
The Run
The team set out for the location of Yorshka's car, finding it at the Quaile's Pail, a junkyard ran and operated by a rich kids son, who died of mysterious circumstances. Finding the junkyard well protected, they decided to set up on a nearby roof and strike out. They had the spirits from Hotdog attack an awakened hell hound, while Throwback shot at a nearby adept.
The Adept was raring to go, and survived a shot from a barret, while the spirit nearly took out the dog. The second spirit was dismissed by a strike from the adept who held his action for an iaido strike. Yet his reign of terror didn't last long when he was taken out by another burst from Throwback.
Once inside the house itself, the team investigated and dispatched the owner, and Throwback forcefully unplugged the decker, causing dumpshock. Awaking to a fright, Throwback threatened to steal the decker's deck, but the decker, R@M, asked - begged - for them to give it back. After a short and hostile negotiation, the decker left with deck in hand, as well as cane, and hobbled up the stairs and away.
Investigating the warehouse underneath the junkyard, the team finds a well put together, if not small, safehouse and drug lab. Hidden entirely underground, and seeming carved into the prefab storage area and basement, the car-dealership-turned-drug-factory became a suddenly juicy target for Hotdog to report to mother of mayhem.
Aftermath
The team was able to return the car to Yorshka, who was happy to have her puppy - a fenrir wolf named Rudeus. She was also happy to help the team jack some cars for themselves.
Hotdog was able to get the drug lab underneath the lot taken in by the Halloweeners, offering both herself and throwback extra rep. Mother of mayhem was pleased with the expansion of their drug making capacity, finding a junkyard and drug lab a convenient way to process and get rid of materials, allowing the otherwise bright and brilliant halloweeners a place to work on things they really don't want prying eyes at. With cameras, fences, gates, locks, and walls of stacked cars on the vacant lot, the unasuming dump because a veritable fortress of drug making, now that it was handled by a real gang. Not just some two bit crooks.
R@M offered to sing high praises of the duo for not smashing his stuff and taking his cyberdeck, and the duo agreed, trading money for street cred for their stellar dynamic entrance and teamwork.
