Summary

A dipshit MeFeed influencer wants to film in front of a rad storm to get clips for a music video. The runners get jumped by Rusted Stilettos and narrowly avoid a TPK.

Background

Due to the events of Asmo's semi-prime Glow City run whose title I don't remember, Redmond is being wracked by rad storms. Jackson Danger is a mediocre metal artist made famous on MeFeed by putting over the top stunts in his music videos, so he sees this as an opportunity.

The Meet

The runners are told to meet at a mall in Touristville. There's some issue crossing the border due to the meteorological hellscape going on, but the team makes it happen. Their Johnson, Jackson Danger, plays guitar for a bit in the food court and tries to flirt with Marissa before getting to the point: he needs security so he can jam out right in front of a rad storm. For some reason, the runners agree to help.

The Plan

The team loads up into Danger's luxury pickup truck with a bed full of sound equipment and start heading towards the Bargain Basement region. As they near the spot their Johnson wants to go...

The Run

...A sniper shoots the truck's axle affer the team botches a Perception test. A group of mutant Rusted Stilettos gangers are on a raid after being driven out of Glow City by the current unpleasantly and seek to steal the fancy truck. The melee adepts engage in melee while Frieren tries to stay safe in the truck after realizing that the BGC would make spellslinging too difficult. Danger behaves recklessly and climbs into the bed of the truck to start jamming out, somehow dodging the bullets being shot at him.

Schlice and Marissa's fights are slogs involving being shot in the back by more gangers. The gangers switch to nonlethal rounds when they realize they could make some solid money ransoming the runners and Danger, and Marissa goes down to a ganger's bayonet.

Frieren enters drake form and the sight of a dragonling suddenly appearing causes the gang to lose their moral and retreat before they can finish off the team.

Aftermath

Danger collects his B roll and slowly drives the team back to the mall in the damaged truck, gladly paying them all for their help.

Jackson looks like a badass in his video, drawing more traffic to his posts. The runners are given the option to be featured in the final product, bringing heat down on both their Johnson and themselves should they agree.
