"I am quite excited to show you something. A yew-wood wand with orichalcum inlay and drake-scale finish. You'll note the textured elf bone handle, for if your work should leave your hands... wet. An in-house creation, my own design. " - Charles Triboulet: Doctor, family man, necromancer.

Dr. Triboulet is a CAS expatriate from Baton Rouge, a wealthy mortician who works out of a crematorium in Downtown Seattle (though he lives in Bellevue). He maintains a cheery disposition, even and especially when dealing with the subject of death, and his one vice is a deep love of expensive elven wines. Wine and perhaps the occasional uncouth joke at his room-temperature patient's expense. He rarely talks of his home life, but anyone visiting his office can tell he's a married man, with a young daughter he dotes on and a wife spoils. He's the very picture of the well to do family man living his best life. Odd to find such a man working in the Shadows. It would be easy to assume the family is why he's delved into the criminal underworld of Seattle, that he spends his life with his hands buried in room-temperature guts and dealing with some of the most unsavory characters in the city because he has a wife with expensive tastes and a child who's future needs to be ensured... and that assumption would be wrong.

He does what he does because he loves it.

Charles Triboulet has been enamored with death since he was a child after his mother died under mysterious circumstances, and when he learned how to use spirits to manipulate the dead he was hooked. He views it as an art form, something to be proud of. If he is an artist, then focai he creates are his brushes, and he loves nothing more than knowing his brushes have gone on to help a fellow artist perfect their craft. He's willing to sell to anyone, and his customer base is varied indeed, but he prefers to work with awakened characters who follow the necro-mage tradition, or those who demonstrate an advanced knowledge of the undead. It goes without saying the 'morality' of his job is the last thing on the good doctors mind when conducting his work. Bodies come in, he does his work, and he never asks where they come from or what becomes of them after. That's just business in Seattle.

Dr. Triboulet will take money for his services, but he's hardly in much need of it. No, what he desires is new materials, rare reagents and resources to make new and more grand expressions of his artistic ability. Given the chance to work with rare enough parts, he may even be willing to waive the fee entirely.

Aspects Description

Aspect Description
Overworked "The dead are very patient, why can't you be?" Services may take longer. Every time the Contact provides a service, roll 2D6. The normal amount of time that it would take to provide the service is multiplied by the resulting number.
Resurrectionist Ghouls, necro-mages, and all sorts of other unsavory types will do a lot to get their hands on a fresh body. It's an untapped market! +2 to Gear Acquisition checks to acquire corpses.
Meat Merchant HMHVV3 is a horrific condition, awakening terrible hungers in it's victims. Men like Dr. Triboulet serve those hungers. +2 to Knowledge checks regarding corpse-eating infected strains.
Charles Triboulet: Reanimator Dr. Triboulet's greatest passion is necromancy. Seeing a room-temperature cadaver rise once more to do his bidding brings a certain joy to the good doctor that is hard to describe. He's more than happy to help a fellow artist improve their own craft, for a price. +2 to Gear Acquisition checks for Necro-magic attuned items.
Relax! I'm a doctor! Though he isn't used to his patients squirming around so much, in a pinch the good doctor can patch and disinfect a wound. +2 to Active checks related to doctoring.
A Man of Class Dr. Triboulet is a wealthy man, and moves among wealthy circles. +2 to Networking tests to get in contact with High Society figures.
Well-Stocked Medicine Cabinet Dr. Triboulet's work involves handling a lot of dangerous chemicals! Shame so many seem to go missing... +2 to Gear Acquisition checks to attain toxins and chemicals.
