Overview

Once an Otaku unquestioningly devoted to the Deep Resonance, Archive Angel lost her faith after her abilities (and those of her kindred) disappeared after the Second Crash. Seeking protection from a world that hated her kind, she found herself working with the Denver Nexus in the mid-2060's. There, she found new meaning in her life cataloguing the mysteries of the new matrix, seeking out lost and hidden data to share with the shadow community. She's done this for over two decades.

Recently, however, a new urban legend has caught her full attention--Heaven and its Garden. The Garden is rumored to be a place of complete clarity, and Archive Angel dearly misses the clarity of purpose she had in her youth. Maybe inside Heaven's gates she can center herself and find meaning in her life.

Archive Angel uses an angelic persona when communication via the matrix, which is her preferred method of communication. She's used to dealing with shadowrunners and their foibles. In most situations she acts level-headed and patient, a facade which cracks as soon as Heaven or The Garden enters the picture. When that happens, she becomes energetic and irritable.

Aspects Description

Aspect	Description
Ever-Searching	The Search for The Garden has consumed much of Archive Angel's free time and monopolized her bandwidth. Because of this, services may take longer. Every time the she provides a service, roll 2D6. The normal amount of time that it would take to provide the service is multiplied by the resulting number.
Occupational Hazards	As a curator of The Nexus's datahaven, Archive Angel has obligations to The Nexus to fulfill, most of which can't be scheduled around (ex. digital intruders, meatspace power outages). Always make an Availability Test when calling her with her Connection 3 higher than normal.
Shadow Networker	+2 to rolls related to the shadow community, such as fixers or runners.
Prime Datahaven	Archive Angel's access to The Nexus gives her plenty of tools to narrow down any kind of search. Divide the time the task takes by four after applying the multiplier from Ever-Searching (as if she had the Analytical Mind and Brilliant Heuristics qualities) when making a knowledge check or matrix search on any subject that the Nexus would have significant amounts of data on. Because The Nexus lost most of their pre-Crash 2 data, this never applies to info from before 2064, and it also never applies to events within the past month because not enough data has been collected yet.
Treasure Trove of info	Archive Angel also can use her privileges to borrow some time from an Agent or junior datahaven member, giving her +2 to any matrix search test.
Urban Legends	Finally, she also pays attention to more fringe data collation communities. +2 to any checks related to rumors or urban legends.
