Born a nobody, SpiderSam managed to accrue a small fortune in bio augments working as a bodyguard (and occasional prize fighter) for the Ancients. But things went south when he, and his client, were caught in a freak mana storm while traveling. The sole survivor, he was transformed into a spider form humanoid. Rejected by his former employers, working what odd jobs he could, he managed to get an in to the runner community, who were a little more forgiving of ones appearance.


Notes: Thematically, the SURGE enhanced his physical abilities while decreaing his logic and charisma. He spent most of his reserve cash getting a cerebellar booster so that he could regain his former intelligence.
The fangs and spidersilk gland he purchased to lean into his new style.


When Chesh got home, he found that his experiences had changed him. As much as he wanted to feel back at home in the Brocielande forest, his time abroad had left him ill- suited for a hunter gather lifestyle. And so, shortly after he left, he sought advice with higher ups in the Korrigan outside his village, who directed him to Alessa P in Seattle - another Pixie who didn't fit in  with other Pixies - who would help him establish himself in metahumanity without being enslaved to the Corps. And so, Chesh has found himself a newly minted runner, eager to explore his newfound city.
