Summary

Heavy-handed renegade superhuman that has surprisingly good people skills. Failing that, she can just crush your windpipe with a love tap.

Goals

Survival first and foremost, after that comes staying under the radar and finding friends in high places. Also a horrible bigot.

Background

Somewhere between radical terrorists and corporate greed lies a grey zone where ideals are corrupted by profit. Gerisa's one of many projects sponsored by Humanis to make a new breed of superhuman that can serve as the face of mankind's superiority. Propaganda, populism and flashy slogans are so much more effective when they're backed up by a deified figure of the human form. Vat-grown, Gerisa's upbringing is horribly skewed towards brainwashing her into a puppet for her handlers. Unfortunately, the sense of superiority that was instilled into her took root better than intended and in one deeply manipulative turn of events she was smuggled out of the lab during a break-in. Her 'love interest' was rewarded with a snapped neck and an empty wallet.

Now, she's holed far out of sight despite her massive frame and approaches the prospect of making her life as glorious as possible in a cold, calculated way. She doesn't need to intimidate 'the lesser beings' when she can manipulate them to do her bidding just as well. So many are gullible and easy to believe she has their best interests at heart if she delivers. Trust isn't sacred, it's social capital. Gerisa's dead set on finding herself a nice perch to settle down on one day where she can stare down upon peons and enjoy her birthright as an inherently superior being. Until then, she has to get her hands dirty -- a welcome challenge, since she'll get the chance to prove her perfection in practice.

Narrative Significant Qualities

Racist w/ Common Sense - Gerisa is bigoted, but she's not going to be constantly undermining team cohesion with derogatory comments because that's fucking stupid. Others might not like her, but she's not outright antagonizing. It does take some amount of patience for her to not quip, however.

Distinctive Style - She's absurdly tall for a human, it's incredibly hard to not notice her in a crowd.

Superhuman Psychosis - Gerisa might enjoy hurting other people more than what is safe, as well as stabbing them in the back just to watch them suffer. Like a child with an ant and a magnifying glass. It's Gerisa's personal drive to become a figure, a myth and a legend. More impressionable people might fall for her theatrics and act and in a cynical world that's a breath of fresh air, even if it's malicious.

Legendary - To no real surprise, she has more than a bit of a past with Humanis. While she's not actively affiliated and a member, she's more than a well known face to some of their more influential figures.

Flashbacks - Banging against the glass, trapped in a tub of warm slime, panicking and trying to scream only for her mouth to fill with the fluid; this is a recurring nightmare to her, an unintended awakening in the laboratory she was grown in. Unfortunately, it never goes away and whenever she's submerged this can come right back to her.

Appearance

Gerisa's tall and toned from head to toe with teak-hard musculature. Her soft skin has solid augmentations right beneath the surface, betraying her otherwise attractive and powerful appearance to be artificial. Instead of keeping her hair short, she grows it out as a taunt to others that try their hardest to be the best they can at combat.

Clothing

Gerisa's clothes often leave much exposed due to her bioware augmentations allowing her to substitute a meal or two with solar power. Not to mention her body is sturdy enough to endure wear and tear in almost any circumstance. Tank tops, bike shorts, baggy prisoner overalls tied around the waist, cheap wrist watches, much of her wardrobe is utilitarian that leaves little to imagination. Does she have no shame? Of course not, she thinks she's perfect.

As if corporate would allow her existence to be known. At best, Seattle's got minor rumors about a human giant in the dark alleyways of Bellevue.
